VP REMOVALS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Customer to arrange reserve suitable parking spaces at all addresses. The spaces at all addresses have to be reserved for a maximum of up to 20 meters between the van and entrance door (house, block-flat).

The customer is to pay for any pay and display, parking tickets issued (PCN) or Tall/Congestion Charge(s).

Agreed charge will apply if job enters into the next hour for over 5 minutes.

Minimum booking is for 2 hours, unless otherwise given in writing.

Removal vehicles cannot transport customer, unless agreed.

It is client’s responsibility to be present at all addresses concerned throughout. VP Removals will not be liable if you decide to leave the property at any stage including locking of the main door before leaving etc. or what happens after our staff(s) leave the property, if you decide to do, do it at your own risk.

We reserve the right to refuse, cease or stop the job at any point for valid reasons such as dispute, weather conditions or similar cases.

The drive can decide to stop loading the van/lorry if it finds that goods are too heavy and the vehicle is overloaded.

The porters would place items into the instructed places as long as it is accessible, but they are not responsible for designing or organizing the property.

Vehicles are insured for business purposes.

No damage will be paid if not correct packing/part or self-loading.

Minimum charge for disconnection of appliances £30.00 and connection also £30.00 depending on how long the task take time and maybe that task we will to do at your own risk.

Minimum charge for dismantling or assembling will be £30 per item depending on the nature of the item.

Waiting time is free of charge for first hour (fix price only) than second hour and another will charge apply depending how many men on the job. Two men – 30 pounds, three men – 40 pounds, four men – 50 pounds.

Item with special fitting from the manufacturer will not be dismantled or assembled.

Minimum cost of dumping is £120 per half tone plus minimum two hours charge for two men (£140).

Minor damage of goods or property will not be paid unless insured.

You have right to complain 24 to 48 hours after the completed service/work ( Terms and Conditions of Good in Transit insurance ).

Emergency overnight storage charge would be £150.
